Meyers Spring Ranch History

Meyers Spring has a history of occupation going back through 4,000 B.C., into the prehistoric Indian migrations of 500 - 1,700 A.D., through the military occupation of the 1870s and 1880s, and then the early giant cattle ranches up to the turn of the century. There have been no less than seven archeological studies of the area over the last 90 years, and they continue to this day.
